See what size of solar system fits.

Move the slider to your monthly bill or a system size. We'll estimate the system size, the installed price and the units it makes in a year.

Your input
₹3,000 / month
₹500₹50,000

Indicative only. To turn a bill into units this assumes about ₹8 a unit, and a system makes about 1,460 units per kW a year in Punjab. An installed price is shown only for the 3, 5 and 10 kW rows of our Punjab price table, and it is confirmed after a site survey. Other sizes are quoted on request. Savings and payback are not shown: Punjab homes get 300 free units a month, so they depend on your own bill. The subsidy counts home systems up to 10 kW with DCR panels: ₹30,000/kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the 3rd, up to ₹78,000 (₹85,800 in Himachal and J&K; this estimate uses the ₹78,000 rate). FAQ

Questions, answered.

Most homes and businesses offset a large share of their daytime electricity use. Your exact savings depend on your bill, roof and consumption. Our free site survey gives you a precise, personalised figure.

Grid-connected rooftop systems on homes can get the central subsidy under PM Surya Ghar if the panels are DCR modules. It is ₹30,000 per kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW, up to ₹78,000. In Himachal Pradesh and J&K it is ₹33,000 per kW for the first 2 kW, ₹19,800 for the 3rd kW and up to ₹85,800. We help you with the PM Surya Ghar and net-metering paperwork; the subsidy application is filed by the vendor registered on the national portal who installs your system.

Inverters: SolarYaan inverters are BIS certified and carry SolarYaan's 10-year onsite warranty, as per its terms. Panels carry their own manufacturer performance warranty, and installation workmanship is covered by the installing partner. Exact terms for your system are set out in writing before installation.

Once your design is signed off after the site survey, a typical residential installation is completed in a short, scheduled window with minimal disruption to your home or business.
