Frequently asked questions
What does rooftop solar cost in Chandigarh?
For a typical home, a 3 kW grid-connected system in the Tricity costs about ₹1.8 to 2.0 lakh installed. The PM Surya Ghar subsidy of up to ₹78,000 is not taken off that price: the Government of India pays it into your bank account later, after your DISCOM inspects the system. The honest answer depends on your roof, structure and wiring, which is why we start with a free site survey rather than a number pulled from the air.
Do you serve Mohali and Panchkula or only Chandigarh?
All three, plus Zirakpur, Kharar, Derabassi and New Chandigarh. We are based in Sector 74, Mohali, so the whole Tricity is local territory for surveys, installation and service.
Can you handle the PM Surya Ghar subsidy application for me?
We help you with it. The application is filed by a vendor registered on the National Portal, who installs and commissions the system; we supply the equipment and help you with the documents through to commissioning. The subsidy is paid directly into your bank account.
