The right solar inverter for every roof.
The inverter is the working heart of a solar system: it converts DC from your panels into usable AC power and decides how much of your sunshine becomes electricity. Solentra distributes a BIS-certified, ALMM-enlisted range with a 10-year standard warranty, held in stock near Chandigarh.
The range we stock
- Single-phase string inverters, 3–6 kW — the workhorses of home rooftops. Ten capacity steps so your system matches your roof exactly; 97.8% peak efficiency; surge protection on both the AC and DC sides (many budget brands skip the DC side); IP65 outdoor-rated, −25 to +60 °C.
- Three-phase string inverters, 5–136 kW — for shops, schools, housing societies and industry. 98.6% peak efficiency, dual MPPT, built-in arc-fault protection, and fanless quiet operation below 12 kW.
- Hybrid inverters, 5–15 kW three-phase — solar plus battery in one machine: run on sunshine by day, stored power in the evening, grid as backup.
- All-in-one storage, 3–10 kW with 10.24 kWh battery built in — one IP66 cabinet, under-4-millisecond switchover when the grid fails (your lights don't blink), and a 6,000-cycle LFP battery.
- Microinverters, 1.2–2.4 kW — for small or shaded roofs where every panel needs to work independently.
On-grid, off-grid or hybrid: which one do you need?
- On-grid (grid-tied) — the standard choice with net metering and the PM Surya Ghar subsidy: lowest cost per kW, but no backup when the grid is down.
- Hybrid — solar plus battery plus grid: daytime solar, evening battery, outage backup. Costs more, does more.
- Off-grid — for sites with no usable grid connection; sized around the battery bank.
What actually matters when you compare inverters
- BIS certification — mandatory in India, and your DISCOM will check it at net-metering time. Every unit we sell is BIS-certified; the brand is also ALMM-enlisted.
- Warranty that is real — the market norm is 5 years with a paid extension. Ours is 10 years standard, in writing — and warranty is only as good as the service behind it, which is why we run advance replacement from local stock.
- Efficiency where it counts — a percentage point of efficiency is real money over 25 years; our three-phase range peaks at 98.6%.
- Monitoring you actually own — web portal, mobile app and an open API, so your generation data is never trapped in someone else's app.
- Protection engineering — Type II surge protection on both sides, arc-fault detection, anti-islanding: the parts of the spec sheet that matter during a Punjab monsoon.
Prices
Inverter pricing moves with the market and depends on capacity, phase and type, so we quote current prices on request rather than publishing stale numbers. WhatsApp us with your requirement — homeowners get a straight retail quote; registered dealers and installers get the dealer price list.
Dealer & installer supply
We are the regional distributor for Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and J&K: same-week delivery from local stock, a printed price list we never undercut online, and a written service promise — confirmed fault means an advance replacement moving from our warehouse, not weeks of courier limbo. Frequently asked questions
Which solar inverter do I need for a 3 kW home system?
A 3 kW (or 3.3 kW) single-phase string inverter for a standard on-grid system with net metering. If you also want backup during power cuts, look at a hybrid or all-in-one storage model instead — we'll size it in a free survey.
What is the difference between on-grid and hybrid inverters?
An on-grid inverter works with the grid and net metering but shuts off during outages for safety. A hybrid adds a battery: solar by day, stored power in the evening, and backup when the grid fails. On-grid costs less; hybrid does more.
Are your inverters BIS certified?
Yes. Every model we distribute is BIS-certified as Indian law requires, and the brand is ALMM-enlisted — so DISCOM net-metering approvals and PM Surya Ghar subsidy files clear cleanly on the equipment.
What warranty do the inverters carry?
Ten years standard, in writing — against a market norm of five years plus a paid extension. Service is handled locally: a confirmed fault gets an advance replacement from our stock while the faulty unit is processed.
Do you sell to individual customers or only dealers?
Both. Homeowners and businesses get retail quotes and full installation support through our partner installers; dealers and installers get wholesale supply, dealer pricing and priority service.
