DCR modules and grid-tie inverters for solar tenders and scheme work.
If you are pricing a bill of quantities against a PEDA rate contract, a PM-KUSUM component or a private rooftop job, you need module model numbers, a DCR position and a stock commitment before you can bid. That is a same-day job for us, and it does not depend on whether you win.

We are an authorised SolarYaan distributor and we stock Adani DCR modules alongside them, so a full bill of material comes off one order rather than two suppliers and two delivery dates. Rates are quoted per order and per quantity, not published.
Why DCR decides the bid, not the price
Domestic content requirement means an Indian cell inside an Indian module, both on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers. Government-linked solar in India is written around it: PM Surya Ghar pays its subsidy only against DCR modules, and PM-KUSUM tenders in Punjab have carried the same requirement along with a DCR certificate from the module manufacturer as a submission document.
The trap is that DCR is a document trail, not a label. A cheaper non-DCR module does not save the job money, it disqualifies the claim or the bid. Two things are worth checking on every tender you price:
- Which ALMM list the tender invokes. List-I covers modules and List-II covers cells. The list that applies, and from what date, is set by the tender and by the notification current when it was issued, so read the notice rather than a summary of it.
- Which components must be indigenous. MNRE's Component-C guidelines extend the requirement beyond the module to the pump set, the inverter or controller and the balance of system, with a declaration of imported content due before commissioning.
We supply the module documentation with the goods. For an inverter model you intend to name in a bid, ask us for the manufacturer's domestic content position for that specific model in writing before you submit, and we will get it for you rather than have you rely on a sales claim.
What we send you, and how fast
- A written quotation on letterhead, with module model numbers and the DCR position stated.
- Datasheets and BIS certificates for the inverter models you are naming.
- A stock position as at the date of the quotation, so you know what is on the floor rather than what is indented.
- Turned around the same working day in almost every case. Tell us your bid due date and we will work to it.
Sizing, when the tender gives you a pump rating
Component-C work is usually specified by pump rating rather than by array size. MNRE's guideline sizes the array between a floor equal to the pump horsepower expressed in kWp and a ceiling of twice the pump's kW rating. A 7.5 HP pump is about 5.6 kW, so the array lands roughly between 5.6 and 11.2 kWp, which is a three-phase string inverter in the 5 to 10 kW band. Send us the pump schedule and we will lay out the module count and the inverter against it.
Who we supply, and where
Dealers and retailers buying for stock, and installers and EPCs buying against a live job. Our SolarYaan distribution territory is Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh and Jammu & Kashmir. It does not include Haryana, so please do not build a SolarYaan bid around us there. Adani module supply is a separate conversation and we will tell you plainly what we can and cannot do on it.
